Final Draft
Final draft seems to be dominating the industry. I am sure there is other screenwriting software that will work but Finaldraft claims over 90% of the movies made used Final draft. I wonder if some of those were converted to final draft for import to scheduling platforms and not actually written on Final draft.

At first, everyone writes down their initial draft in what they are most comfortable with. The first draft might be written with a pen and paper, in the traditional way. Others might write it down in a Word document. However, the final draft is written in something that is most accessible to those working in the industry 🙂
