Summer is the great time to explore new places. In 2022, the stock video trends are:

1. Drone videos of exotic islands
If you are fortunate enough to live near one exotic island or you are planning to go on your Summer holiday to one, take a few minutes to take aerial footage with your drone. During this Summer Season, videos featuring Holiday destinations are in high demand.

2. Traditional Summer Festivals & Cultural Events
That cultural event or festival that is happening in your local community ever since you were a child might become your most popular video on a stock footage website. This year, make sure to take your video camera with you and show the world the beauty of your culture.

3. The Beach & The Ocean or The Sea
If you live near a beach, or you are having your Holiday near one, take a few minutes to create a few videos. During the Summer Season, many content creators are interested in purchasing stock videos featuring peaceful or beautiful places featuring the Beach and the waves. I honestly never believed that someone would be willing to purchase stock content featuring Romanian traditions. I did a research on a stock footage platform and I discovered how wrong I was. I grew up and these traditions happened all around me. Because of this, I believed they are normal. We are also a small country compared to others, therefore, I always believed that others would only be interested about the traditions of the big countries.

In conclusion, if you live somewhere where there are local traditions, you might be surprised by the exposure you could receive if you would create stock footage with them and upload them on the internet. I am honestly thinking to do so.

I usually have my gear with me and go for a walk to snap some pictures. It is a relaxing activity. I might upload some of those pictures to some stock footage websites.
