What is the best camera to film a short film in 2023?

I am researching the same topic for an assignment at Uni. I think the best video camera for a short film is the DSLR camera.
DSLR stands for Digital Single-Lens Reflex and is a type of camera that uses a mirror system to allow for the use of interchangeable lenses. This makes them ideal for short films, as they allow for a wide range of creative options when it comes to filming. DSLR cameras also offer excellent image quality, and they are relatively affordable, and they are a great choice if you are on a budget.

In theory, mirrorless cameras are similar to DSLR cameras in that they use interchangeable lenses, but they don’t have a mirror system. They also offer excellent image quality and are generally more affordable than DSLRs, making them a great option for anyone who is looking for a cost-effective camera. For example, Sony A6000 is a great Mirrorless camera for a student. You can also use the Sigma 30mm lens and you have a really good quality.
