(Oakland, CA) American jazz singer, actress, and filmmaker, Tamela D'Amico,
has attached to Made U Look Production's first, feature film, Casey.
As one of the top 24 finalists on FOX's reality show, On The Lot, Tamela has
gone on to form La Strega Entertainment, the banner for her sultry, jazz album,
"Got A Little Story," executive produced by Peter Krause (Parenthood,
Six Feet Under, Dirty Sexy Money) and Grammy Award winner, Jimmy Hoyson at Capital
Records Studios. The album was released by LML Records/Allegro distribution
in April 2009 and has since been distributed worldwide.
A character-driven drama, "Casey," centers on Teresa, (Noureen DeWulf
of The Backup Plan and Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past) as a guilt-ridden wife suffering
through her miscarriages, her broken marriage with Paul, and her conflicted
love for Casey, a seventeen-year old, daydreamer, being abused by his alcoholic
mother, Norma.
Tamela will portray the character Jan, a mutual friend, who must side with
either Teresa and her illicit affair with Casey, or with Paul, tormented by
his separation from Teresa and her taboo affair.
Along with Noureen DeWulf, and Tamela D'Amico, Casey, features attachments
from Joan Severance (Wiseguy, Lethal Weapon, Black Scorpian), Lisa Pescia (Body
Chemistry), Silvia Spross (Giallo, The Art Of Travel) and Robert Miano (Donnie
Brasco, Fast & Furious, Dungeons and Dragons).
Made U Look Productions was formed in 2009, by Dane Terrell, with the aim of
producing mid level, independent films, featuring strong, female protagonists.
