Thirteen Columbia University filmmakers were selected to participate in the 2013 Palm Springs International ShortFest in Florida. The festival’s mission is to nurture and encourage new filmmaking talent, honor the great masters of world cinema and provide audiences with unique opportunities to engage in an appreciation of and a dialogue about the art of cinema as it is represented around the world.
Of the 300 shorts screened, Columbia University had a strong showing of films including Un Mundo Para Raul, by Student Academy Award-winner Mauro Mueller (’13). See a complete listing of our student participants below and click on their names for more information about their films.
