Cinematographer Daniel Smukalla Captures Lotus Lantern Parade 2011

The parade ran down Jongno Street from Dongdaemun Stadium to Jogyesa Temple. The footage was shot on the Sony EX3.

Cinematographer Daniel Smukalla captures the Lotus Lantern Parade 2011 in Seoul,
Korea. The parade ran down Jongno Street from Dongdaemun Stadium to Jogyesa
Temple. The footage was shot on the Sony EX3.
Daniel Smukalla is a documentary and narrative filmmaker, who draws inspiration
from world travel. He received a Bachelors of Arts in film and video production,
with a concentration in cinematography, from Columbia College Chicago. His knowledge
of a wide range of formats lead to positions as a Cinematographer and Assistant
Cameraman on both narrative and documentary films, which have been screened
domestically and internationally.
Born in Wisconsin, USA, he currently works as a freelance Cinematographer in
Seoul, Korea and is in preproduction on a documentary to be shot later this
year in Korea.
