Chicago Premiere of Documentary, "The Movement"

Adaptive Adventures, a Wilmette-based nonprofit, providing distinctive outdoor adventures to people with physical disabilities, will host the Chicago premiere of The Movement, a documentary narrated by Robert Redford and ski legend Warren Miller.

Adaptive Adventures, a Wilmette-based nonprofit, providing distinctive outdoor adventures to people with physical disabilities, will host the Chicago premiere of The Movement, a documentary narrated by Robert Redford and ski legend Warren Miller. The film screened at the Sundance Film Festival in Jan. to critical acclaim. The Movement profiles five disabled athletes who regain a sense of freedom and newfound confidence through skiing. After the film, Adaptive Adventures will honor a select group of Wounded Warriors who have succeeded in sports despite their physical limitations.
