i-tools Viewing Glass with Schneider Glass - Overview

Name: i-tools Viewing Glass with Schneider glass
Description: Double Rotated Pola in Black Anodized Aluminium. The i-Tools Viewing Glass is based on the simple effect of turning 2 Polarizing filters against each other to obtain a maximum density.

Details:

The i-Tools Viewing Glass is made from black anodized aluminum with 2 TIFFEN circular pola's. Its rotating ring has good grip so when you are wearing gloves, you will be still able to turn the ring. It is the ideal instrument for every DoP, gaffer, best boy or even first AD's to observe the sun being covered or cleared or as a variable "contrast glass".

As DoP or gaffer, you can use it to see the differences in contrast by turning the front ring to the desired density. By turning the front ring, aligning the 2 marks on both rings, you have straight away the darkest point of the 2 filters.

The Viewing Glass prototype has been tested in the field by different gaffers and the end result is a workable, easy to handle tool for everybody working in or with light whether in theater, movie business or photography.
