• Build the place of the scene for rehearsal
• Cut scene into subject sequence (number/title)
• Purpose of scene within full script
• Purpose of specific scene for character revelation
• Underline character dialogue with past tense
• Create behavior with props
• Objective of character for specific scene
• Character relationship to partner in scene (opening
and closing attitude)
• Identify actions of text
• Select DO able actions to aid in the accomplishment
of the objective.
III. Characterization: (determined by actions)
• Get character in terms of social class, profession,
values
• Nature of relationship between characters (Determine
how you feel about every single character you encounter in the
