Every year, the NAB Show in Las Vegas draws storytellers, image-makers, gearheads, innovators, and experimenters from all corners of the creative spectrum. Some come for the latest in camera tech or to chase the whisper of AI’s influence on post. Others come for the quiet moments—the hallway conversations, the unexpected demos, the chance encounters that lead to future projects.
Wherever you fall—director or DIT, documentarian or dreamer—we want to know what resonated with you. What made you stop and think? What challenged you? What might change how you work next week, next year?
StudentFilmmakers.com is collecting your takeaways, insights, and moments of clarity from NAB 2025.
We’re not just looking for the top-5-best-cameras or clickbait gear lists (though, if something blew your mind, tell us why). We want the real stuff:
- Did a panel reframe your understanding of workflow?
- Did a prototype inspire a new direction in your storytelling?
- Did you meet someone who reminded you why you chose this life?
- Did you see the future—or at least a version of it?
Whether you’re just starting out, mid-career, or deep into your creative evolution, your experience matters. Someone else in our community might see something new through your eyes.
Here’s how to share:
- Write up a short reflection (200–600 words is perfect).
- Include any photos, sketches, or snapshots that help tell the story.
- If you’d rather speak than write, send us a voice note—we’ll transcribe or feature it.
