MEDIA BATTLES, INC. proudly introduces its new, unique, patent-pending filtering system.

In modern times, parents are more concerned than ever about how to filter the viewing and listening habits of their children. With ratings for films and television shows by the Motion Picture Association of America that seem confusing and often arbitrary, and with millions of pieces of audio and video content now available online with very few methods for blocking young eyes and ears from seeing and hearing certain things, families desperately seek ways to regain control of the media intake in their houses. Google Trends reveals that the phrase “parental controls” is a search term that ranks at an all-time high.

In light of these trends, MEDIA BATTLES, INC. proudly introduces its new, unique, patent-pending filtering system. Available for use exclusively with its upcoming MEDIAXUS application, the Media Battles filter puts the controls back in the hands of the parents.

The filter offers parents a number of different categories of content on which to rate their preference levels for their children’s viewing. Categories include violence, language and sexuality, as well as many others. Each category can be rated on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 featuring the least amount of that type of content and 5 featuring the heaviest amount of that type of content. For instance, if a child is suspectible to repeating bad words but refrains from reenacting violent scenes, the parents may set the filter at a 1 for language but a 4 for violence.

Parents can have up to three accounts on a single subscription, so that their youngest and oldest children can watch on different levels, and so there can be a separate account for the parents themselves. Only the parents can adjust the setting levels from their account; the children’s accounts stay firmly locked in place.

Mediaxus will offer both video and audio, so parents will have control over what music their children listen to as well.

Media Battles, Inc. currently seeks investors who can help them achieve their goals of bringing this family-friendly filter to the marketplace. Eric Griffin, CEO and president, has invented the filter but needs investors’ help in providing the funds for the personnel and for technology development so that the website and filter can be implemented nationwide.
