The Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers, New York Section presents an EDITING SHOWCASE featuring demonstrations by the industry's leading editing system manufacturers and related technology vendors. Also participating are some major user groups (such as the Apple User Group) and not-for-profit professional organizations and schools. In addition to the entire North East SMPTE membership, participating non-profits and schools are inviting their students, faculty and members. We expect a sizable attendance by the freelance editing community, broadcasters and facilities staffs.
