Video Contests, Film Festivals, and Awards

FORMAT

Film/Video
Required format: VHS tape (NTSC, US), DVD or VCD. Length/running time is optional.
Optional format: If your film is nominated or selected for screening, you must submit a Beta tape format.

Photography
Color or black/white.
Required format: Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG), resolution 300 dots per inch (dpi).
Optional format: Prints (any size, mounted) must be submitted in order for entries to be exhibited. All nominees will be expected to submit prints for exhibit.


ELIGIBILITY**

You can submit an entry if it meets at least one of the following requirements:
1. At least one person claiming or acknowledged for the entry is of Southeast Asian descent defined below;
2. The entry has been produced in a Southeast Asian country defined below; or
3. The entry showcases/represents the contestant's knowledge/interest in a Southeast Asian country defined below. For purposes of this Festival, Southeast Asian countries are defined as: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

ENTRY FEES

Film/Video
Early entry fee: US$15 (if received on or before November 1, 2004)
Normal entry fee: US$20 (if received on or after November 2, 2004)
If submitting more than one entry: US$8 each additional entry.

Photography
Early entry fee: US$10 (if received on or before November 1, 2004)
Normal entry fee: US$15 (if received on or after November 2, 2004)
If submitting more than one entry: US$5 each additional entry.
