(Breckenridge, CO) - On June 9, the producers of �Trade of Innocents� debuted their film at the Breckenridge Festival of Film in Breckenridge, Colorado. The screening was a special �sneak peek� hosted by producers Bill and Laurie Bolthouse, who live part time in Breckenridge, prior to the film�s anticipated theatrical release this fall and was attended by over 550 people.

The film stars Dermot Mulroney (The Grey, Big Miracle) and Oscar� winner Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite) who play a couple grieving the loss of their own daughter while working to rescue children victimized by sex trafficking in Cambodia. The film also stars John Billingsley (2012) and Trieu Tran (Tropic Thunder) and shows the problems facing those who want to bring justice to the seedy brothels of underworld child prostitution including extreme poverty, cultural complications and police and government complicity in crime.

Written and directed by Christopher Bessette (The Enemy God) the film was shot in Thailand in 2010. The reviewers of the festival also honored Mr. Bessette with �Best Director� award for this year. Director of Photography Philip Hurn, Producer Jim Schmidt, Associate Producer and Director of Casing Bev Holloway and Composer Timothy Hosman joined Mr. Bessette on stage after the screening for a question and answer session led by fellow producer Bill Bolthouse. Audience response to the movie was overwhelmingly positive and the filmmakers were met with a standing ovation.

The film was preceded by the introduction of special guests in the audience including representatives from 3 anti-trafficking organizations: Restore Innocence, located in Colorado Springs and working with young women rescued in Colorado, Polaris Project, whose national trafficking hotline at 1-888-3737-888 serves to inform and rescue trafficking victims in the U.S. and International Justice Mission, whose tireless work for freedom around the globe was an inspiration for the movie. A VIP fundraiser held before the screening raised over $10,000 that will benefit these non-profits.

�Trade of Innocents� was picked up for domestic distribution by Monterey Media, a boutique distribution company in Thousand Oaks, California last month. They anticipate a theatrical release in September in key cities nationwide.
