Festival set to present a program of award winning American films that entertain, enlighten and educate.

(Houston, TX) TMG Entertainment announces TMG Independent Film Festival coming to the Houston area November 1-3, 2012 at the vibrant Cinemark Theaters in Woodlands, TX. The Festival will showcase the best of the best, screening feature films, documentaries and shorts that have previously been honored and awarded at major film festivals. It presents a survey of the year's most significant independent American films, featuring the work of leading and emerging filmmakers from around the country and being recognized for best in their field among their peers.

This year, films will be selected to participate in the TMG Independent Film Festival based on prior major festival awarded films, making this festival - the "best of the best." The audience will then select the winners in each category, which will be awarded $5,000. The invitation-only event builds on TMG Entertainment's 20 year tradition of supporting films, television and entertainment and on honoring those dedicated to their craft.

"TMG Independent Film Festival is a platform that brings some of the most talented American filmmakers together to showcase their work. It is the only film festival that brings together the best of the best under one roof," said Paolo Sadri, President of TMG Entertainment and event director.

In addition to the film screenings, there will be a gala and the awards presentation ceremony with a barbeque style buffet at a location yet to be announced.

The films will be showcased at the Cinemark Century Theaters in Woodlands, TX. Cinemark Theaters is a leader in the motion picture exhibition industry. Stadium seating, digital picture and 3D entertainment brings crisp, vivid imagery to audiences for the complete entertainment experience.

As well as Texas, the TMG Independent Film Festival is scheduled in additional cities for 2012 which include Las Vegas, Miami and Phoenix.
