T-VIPS Delivers Solutions to Meet Operator Requirements for Simple Transition to IP Infrastructures as Business Models and Content Distribution Increases in Complexity.

(Oslo, Norway) Professional video contribution and distribution solutions company T-VIPS will present its strongest product line-up to date at IBC 2012. T-VIPS invites visitors to see hand-on demonstrations of its award-winning solutions that are designed to enable the flawless delivery of professional quality video over IP and other networks. The solutions are designed to serve the requirements of broadcasters, operators and service providers moving to next generation infrastructures. T-VIPS has a long established commitment to ensuring that IP-based contribution and distribution solutions continue to meet operators' increasingly complex business and technical requirements. Highlights include several new product launches and announcements of recent customer wins.

Demonstrated on the T-VIPS stand (IBC: 1.B71) will be Connect5, a video-centric network management solution allowing broadcasters and network operators to easily monitor, control and expand their video services. Connect5 provides comprehensive monitoring, management and reporting capabilities in an easy to use framework. Offering a fresh approach to simplifying network management it can be combined with products in the T-VIPS Video Gateway, cProcessor and nSure ranges and integrated with other network management solutions. Connect5 offers broadcasters and operators a fully customizable system that delivers unmatched reliability for high quality video transport.

Also showcased will be the CP524 TS Adapter, the latest addition to the cProcessor toolbox. The T-VIPS CP524 enables operators and service providers to flexibly repackage and deliver content to multiple end points. The CP524 TS Adapter provides a single-box solution that takes the pain out of remultiplexing, filtering and mixing & matching services from multiple inputs to multiple outputs.

Another major new product to launch at IBC is the TNS460 HD/SD-SDI Monitor, which ensures the efficient and continuous monitoring of HD and SD-SDI video signals allowing operators to better manage and deliver high quality content. Adding to the nSure product portfolio, the TNS460 is a compact and cost effective real-time solution intended to monitor video signal at central head-ends and at hand-over points in the broadcast value chain.

"The IBC product launches are part of our on-going mission to ensure that IP video networks enable the impeccable delivery of high quality content that broadcasters and operators can rely on," said Johnny Dolvik, CEO, T-VIPS.

"T-VIPS has pioneered many techniques for the reliable delivery of video over IP including advanced Forward Error Correction, diversity reception and redundancy. These recent product launches reflect our expertise in delivering solutions which meet the most demanding market requirements. For instance, our latest product launches will be particularly popular with service providers who are increasingly using IP to deliver video-centric services. As business models become more complex so do the technical challenges faced by operators and broadcasters. Our IBC demonstrations will show that T-VIPS continues to deliver the intelligent solutions that answer these challenges and make the transition to IP smooth, cost-efficient and profitable," concluded Dolvik.
