Suraaj Aulakh, a Simon Fraser University student, wins first place and $3,500 in prize money at Gene Screen B.C.'s film competition for her film "Sequence Me," named the best short film in the competition. She got the award at a gala held Sept. 8 at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre in Vancouver.
