NAB Show Updates
Ross Video and The Tiffen Company have announced that they will be showing joint solutions as part of the Ross Virtual and Augmented Reality studio in the Ross booth (#N3808) at NAB 2013. The virtual studio will show a fully automated broadcast production system with a practical set extended by a virtual set and extensive use of immersive augmented reality graphics. The studio uses Tiffen's custom-mounted Listec Teleprompters fitted to Ross' Cambot and Furio Robotic Camera Systems. Tiffen is also providing lighting for the studio, Lowel Prime Power LED Series lights. Like Ross, Tiffen has been on the broadcast scene for decades, and is recognized worldwide for its innovative products. In addition to the award-winning Lowel lighting solutions and Listec professional teleprompters, Tiffen also offers the broadcast community an extensive line of optical and digital filters, tripods, and world-renowned Steadicam camera stabilizer systems. "Ross Video has a phenomenal reputation in the broadcast industry and working closely with them to deliver our top-of-the-line teleprompters and award-winning lighting solutions gives our customers the very best in on-air broadcast technologies and workflows," comments Steve Tiffen, President and CEO, The Tiffen Company. "We're excited to have Tiffen's Listec Prompters and Lowell lightning as part of our virtual studio," said Marcel Fontaine, Ross Robotics Business Development, Ross Video. "These products work well in combination with Ross robotics, graphics and production switchers to produce the overall solution clients are looking for."
