MySiyum.com, a website founded by Partners in Torah with the goal of encouraging Jewish learning, announced the release of a new film called "Friends 'Til the End of the Text" aka "Friends to the End." The film promotes MySiyum.com as a starting point to learning a Jewish text, preferably with a study partner.

The storyline of "Friends 'Til the End of the Text" encourages everyone to learn and finish a Jewish text. Additionally, the subtext is that this kind of learning is not only for scholars or for those who have been religious their whole life. Learning is open to any man or woman who has an interest in learning more about any aspect of Judaism and is willing to make a commitment to doing so.

Hundreds of people have signed up to learn as a result of the film being posted and viewed. While MySiyum.com exists to encourage all Jewish learning, it also provides a means for people to participate in the 12th Siyum HaShas, a spectacular celebration of Jewish learning taking place on August 1, 2012 in the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Rabbi Eli Gewirtz, National Director of Partners in Torah, says, "The feeling among the women during the filming was amazing – friendly, warm, completely in tune with the campaign. These were four women who had never met, and yet they came together to make this promo for the largest celebration of Jewish unity and learning in the last 2,000 years. We're very excited by this film."

Participants in the making of the film are also excited. "It was a wonderful experience making this film and a pleasure to work with Partners in Torah," commented Joel Fendelman who directed the video. "Directing this film was an incredible experience; we all put our best foot forward to finish a video that promotes learning. I think everyone that worked on the project resonated with the positive message and was proud to be a part of it."

The video was filmed in Brooklyn, NY, at Bistro 1310, a chic upscale Glatt Kosher restaurant.
