RED is pleased to announce the first class of REDUCATION-X, a 16-week program in digital movie making meant to bridge the gap between short-term intensive training classes and a multi-year film school. RED recognizes the need for an extensive Digital Cinema Education and created REDUCATION-X to fill it.

In REDUCATION-X, students will learn the roles of Producer, Director and Cinematographer as well as be trained in Screenplay Development, Image Capture, Equipment Nuts and Bolts, Casting and Location Scouting. There will be a 10-week Production session where students will prep, shoot and wrap seven projects with their fellow students. Three weeks of post-production covers editing, grading and properly getting work onto a big screen.
