The student team that shot the documentary, "Daughters Of Dolma," using the Panasonic HMC 151 camera recently shared an update on the StudentFilmmakers.com Forums.

"I am part of a student team that spent the last summer in Nepal living with Tibetan Buddhist nuns of two different nunneries. Spending time with the nuns meant we could go beyond just showing prayers and focusing on more personal thoughts, ideas and dreams. The full feature film is due to come out next year, a 3 minute trailer is out now."

The team consists of 6 students from the University of St Andrews, brought together by their common passion to understand first-hand the ways of a special group of people. Bringing their skills and talents to the fore, they aim to produce a masterpiece that will hopefully serve as an inspiration for the generations to come. As "St Andrews' first ever feature-length documentary", the film will break new grounds not only in our knowledge of Tibetan Buddhist nuns, but more importantly, in what passionate and determined students can collectively produce.

Discuss this production in the forums online.
