At NAB 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada, StudentFilmmakers Magazine drops by the Outsight and CreamSource (www.creamsource.com) booth C12646, which exhibited an all-new range of Creamsource lights, Creamsource chimera softboxes, and more.
Feature films such as "The Hobbit," "Zero Dark Thirty," and "The Rise of the Planet of the Apes" have used Outsight luminaires during production.
Outsight's experience includes building one of the first large scale high power LED installation used in the film industry for the 2004 production of Director George Miller's "Happy Feet" with 60 fixtures providing 6kW of reliable LED light for motion capture. Outsight also designed custom LED lighting equipment for productions such as Gavin Hood / Hugh Jackman's "Xmen origins- Wolverine" 2009.
