Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge!) made a quick stop to produce and star in Fox Searchlight Pictures' Rabbit Hole. Originally a Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway drama, the playwright David Lindsay-Abaire adapted his work into a screenplay for Kidman’s production company Blossom Films. Award-wining director John Cameron Mitchell (Shortbus) shot scenes in Kaufman Astoria Studios’ Stage F.

Co-staring Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) as Kidman’s husband, the film explores how a couple copes with life after the death of their four-year-old son. As the story progresses, the couple receives advice from the wife’s well-meaning mother, deals with the wife’s strange sister and confronts the young driver who accidentally hit their only child. The film also stars Sandra Oh (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Dianne Wiest (Synecdoche, New York).
