(Burbank, CA) The debut CD from Nick Jonas & The Administration debuts at # 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart, selling over 80,000 units.

Nick Jonas & The Administration sprang to life last spring when Nick Jonas went to Nashville's Blackbird Studios to record songs that were in his heart and that he knew would be stylistically different than music he has written in the past. With help from producer John Fields, Nick assembled a top notch band of musicians and recorded Who I Am in two weeks time. The CD features Michael Bland on drums, David Ryan Harris on guitar, Tommy Barbarella on keys, and John Fields on bass. For the tour, Sonny Thompson came to the plate on guitar.

The album launch started in December with the band's first national prime-time network appearance on the Grammy Nomination Show. On January 2, Nick Jonas & The Administration kicked off their tour in Dallas with two sold out House of Blues Shows and rave reviews, prompting comparisons to Prince, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and John Mayer. Nick's passion for music and songwriting fueled his creative nature even further. By the opening night of the tour Nick had written a new song, "Stay," which became an internet sensation. "Stay" will be made available as a digital single on March 2.

Nick's pace picked up more and more speed along the tour with radio station visits, TV appearances on Late Show with David Letterman, sitting in with Kelly Ripa on Live with Regis & Kelly, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Jay Leno Show, Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Nick also landed the cover (actually three covers) of V-Man and features in Vanity Fair, NY Times, USA Today, and Teen Vogue.

On street date, Nick performed three impromptu acoustic sets with Sonny Thompson in and around Los Angeles as a thank you to his fans. By U-streaming the shows on Nick's social networks, fans around the world were able to join in.

Who is Nick Jonas? Perhaps it was said best by NY Post critic Dan Aquilante, "I like that he really sings. His guitar work is propulsive, and he's humble."

Nick Jonas is managed exclusively by Kevin Jonas, Sr. and Philip McIntyre of The Jonas Group and Johnny Wright of Wright Entertainment Group.
