IATSE Local Diversity Sponsors Lighting Forum

IASTE Local 600's Diversity Committee will host a free workshop/Lighting Forum for members of Local 600 and students from area colleges on Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at Mole-Richardson, Hollywood, California.

Helmed by award-winning cinematographer Donald A. Morgan ASC and Director of Photography Tommy Maddox, and featuring demonstrations and discussions with leading cinematographers who will share some of their hallmark shortcuts and technical design tips that are common in modern film and HD shooting situations.

"There is a need for our Union Cinematographers to show the younger people two things: The new techniques of today shooting style and most of all to show people of color and�diversity�behind the camera.

This first-time event is �sponsored by Panavision, Kodak, Deluxe, J.L. Fisher, Mole Richardson, Coffey Sound, Camera Support and the American Society of Cinematographers.
