(Los Angeles, CA) - Independent Film Development Corporation (OTCBB: IFLM), a development stage international sales and distributor of digital films, producers and crowd funders to the multibillion dollar Independent Film Industry, announced today that it has won the contract with 3KG Entertainment to Executive Produce and has also been awarded the exclusive worldwide sales rights for the upcoming feature film, "Isom Dart "written by Kenneth W. Long Jr. and Khalid Bilton.

The film is also being executive produced by Andre' Eves, who also produced "Kinyarwanda", which won the coveted 2011 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award. The project is also being produced by Gregory Allen Webb, Mark Harris, Gloria Kisel, Kenneth W. Long Jr., Khalid Bilton and Associate Producer Kelly Leigh Roy.

The story follows the true life journey of Isom Dart. Through his trials and tribulations, we see Isom Dart as a slave child that was a forced to fight for the Confederacy. Later, he spends time amongst the American Indian tribes and his later years as a rancher in Colorado.

"It brings to mind 'Little Big Man' but from a black man's perspective" said Greg Webb, one of the film's producers. The film begins with Isom as a young slave in 1850's North Carolina and follows him throughout his life up to the turn of the 20th century. The film's development budget is being partially funded by a private investor out of Arizona, who has already funded the first development monies with the company.

"The team on this project is extraordinary, we are looking forward to having Isom Dart be part of IFLM's unique development umbrella, utilizing all aspects of what our company has to offer," said Jeff Ritchie, CEO.
