Congratulations to LA Film School's Game Production instructor St. John Colon and Animation instructors Dan Fiske and Joffery Black on the iOS release of Rubber Bandito!

St. John Colon was art director and project manager, Dan Fiske contributed animation artwork and Joffery Black contributed character renders.

A brief synopsis of the game: In Rubber Bandito, you embody a peace-loving Shaman living in harmony with your people in a bountiful habitat. After the Imperial Trade Syndicate – a collective of steampunk cyborgs – brutally takes over your village and begins stripping the land of its resources, you, an honorable pacifist, are forced to rebel.

Utilizing modern controls for a retro platformer, the touch-anywhere, slingshot mechanism makes use of touch-screen technology like never before. The unique aim-and-release system gives the player the precision, freedom and power to slide, jump, double-jump and wall-jump their way across an epic, five-world adventure. Complete control is at your fingertips, so be ready to leap, roll, slash and shred your way through a gauntlet of retro-inspired levels that will stretch your imagination beyond its limits!

Rubber Bandito will be available for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Android by year’s end.
