48 Go Green is the Ultimate online international ecological film competition.

Vibrant and very funky.  For two days, contestants race to create a short film with a message about saving the planet. The entire filmmaking process happens over this weekend, so energy will be running high! This is a real chance for some fun creativity for independent filmmakers, especially those of us with social consciences that have a message to spread.
Anyone with internet access is eligible to compete, the world over. These things make it ideal for those of us short on time and money.  Student, if you have a team already, then you're well on your way to creating your short film. Even if you don't have a team, there are forums to find others looking to create a short film with real import. It's a small investment of time and money to get some real worldwide enormous exposure as a filmmaker, writer, or actor.

There are many prizes to be won, including a Grand Prize of $10,000 and a trip to Hollywood! Each competition also has a People's Choice winner, voted for by the public.
