(New York, NY) Safe Passage Pictures, an independent film and packaging company with offices in New York and Los Angeles, today announced it is working with award-winning screenwriters Adrienne Lusby & Emiliana Monahan Dore to develop and produce their latest four film and television projects. The deal is the latest of several alliances that Safe Passage Pictures has struck with accomplished screenwriters.

The scripts represent a broad range of genres and styles. They include:

Relativity
It is a secret the scientific community has harbored for over 80 years. Now, following the 100th anniversary of Einstein's Nobel prize winning papers comes the compelling true story of Mileva Einstein, Albert's wife and silent partner who collaborated with Einstein on much of his famous work... The screenplay for "Relativity" won a grand prize from the Women in Film and Video screenwriting contest, placed as a finalist in both The Austin Film Festival and The Page International Screenplay Competition.

The Compound
There's more to polygamy than you think. And there's a reason why one of their leaders, Warren Jeffs, was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list. When Private Investigator, Rachel Sullivan is hired to investigate the disappearance of a young woman from a Fundamentalist Mormon Polygamist sect, she'll go undercover into a bizarre and dangerous world hidden in the heartland of America.

Shiver
Professor William Maddox is Canada's foremost expert on legends and mythology. But there's a reason why he's so familiar with the unusual... In his hometown of Shadow Bay, Nova Scotia, it's all true. Shiver, written as a television series, is a modern day "X-Files" meets "Northern Exposure." It focuses on the partnership between two compelling characters in an quirky town filled with an eclectic cast of townies and a never-ending supply of supernatural events.

The Secrets Of Dating
There's nothing funnier than a bad date. As long as it's not yours... Columnist Annie DeWilde, aka "The Hopeless Cynic," has written about so many women's nightmare dates, she's pretty much given up on love. But when Annie decides to write about one bad date too many, the latest victim of her column turns out to be none other than Jack Sinclair, a fellow-writer and all around decent guy. His friends convince him to write a letter to Annie's editor, which creates such a sensation, that the paper decides to make him a guest columnist alongside Annie - much to her chagrin.

"These are all fascinating stories in a range of genres that appeal to a wide audience," says Sandi Castro-Migliaccio, a partner and producer at Safe Passage Pictures. "Most important, these two writers have crafted each script with compelling and likable characters, gripping story lines and some of the best dialogue we have ever seen on film and television."

Adrienne Lusby's degree in Literature and Creative Writing at USC launched her into a career as one of the most highly-respected copywriters in the Film and Television industry. Together with Emiliana Dore, she has written five feature length scripts in a variety of genres, as well as a very-well received television pilot. Both Adrienne and Emiliana believe great stories are driven by strong characters.

After graduating from USC's film writing program, Emiliana Dore also embarked on a career as a Film and Television copywriter, while continuing to pursue her passion for storytelling. Joining forces with Adrienne Lusby in 2003, the two have completed several noteworthy projects together, including Relativity, which received a grand prize from The Women in Film and Video screenwriting contest, as well as placing as a finalist in both The Austin Film Festival and The Page International Screenplay Competition.
