Tycoon is a one hour family drama written by Theo Nicholas Pagones. It’s the saga about the Nicolaides Greek shipping family. The lifestyle and inner workings of Megabulk Cargo a multi-billion dollar, family-run, shipping business, and the largest Greek Tanker and bulk carrier fleet. The show contrasts a cut-throat, Mafia-style control of family owned versus the corporate-run global shipping industry giants of Korea and Denmark as they try to steal and undercut Megabulk’s contracts. It’s the world of greed, power, money, and corruption. Tycoon is the Mafia of the high seas.

Optioning the Tycoon property is Producer Jonah M Hirsch. Some of Mr. Hirch’s feature credits include the 2010 hit Main Street with Colin Firth, Ellen Burstyn, and Orlando Bloom. Walking Madison with Elisabeth Shue and Will Patton, and Sweet Obsession treatment by Matthew M. Ross.

Pagones starred, wrote, and produced the award winning Independent film “Runners.” About four former track champions reunite for their 10 year high school reunion in New Mexico. Only the real reunion begins when they realize that their beloved coach has become their most feared enemy. A mock trail brings out the truth about the days of high school track and field, with an explosive conclusion that liberates their souls forever. A very erie similarity to Jerry Sandusky molestation scandal at Penn State.

In his latest television project, Pagones Big Greek Films company is in development with Apple Tree Productions, with the one-hour dark drama TV series titled Astoria. It’s based on the ongoing drama that exists in the Antonopoulos Family. Greek and Albanian mafia families fight it out for control of the vast underground drug cartel. Legal representation for Tycoon will be handled by the law offices of Joshua M. Fine.
