Bess, a rebellious trailer park teen, and her nine-year-old friend Waldo, steal a car and make a desperate journey from Kansas to Las Vegas in search of Bess father, a man shes never known. It isnt long before the troublesome duo catch the attention of a career grifter called Roach (Bill Sage, American Psycho, Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie).

This unlikely trio of misfits embarks on an adventure through the beautiful and dangerous landscapes of Americas Midwest, where they encounter an array of lost-souls, deadbeats and con men, and ultimately learn that family can be found in the oddest of places.

Director William Joe Saunders remarked, Sweet Little Lies is a touching film about the struggle to understand ones place in the world. Inspired by movies from my childhood (Goonies, E.T., Empire of the Sun), I wanted to capture a child's journey into adulthood through an exciting adventure story. While this movies outward genre might be labeled as a Road Movie, it goes beyond that. Bess adventure is more akin to the classic Heros Journey of say, Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. Bess, like Luke, is on a quest for something bigger than herself. As she journeys towards that goal, she picks up a wide range of allies and enemies, who ultimately push her to reflect more deeply on her own goals and dreams. In the style of the classic Heros Journey, Bess outward cinematic quest leads to a deeper emotional awakening.

Mark Osborne, Director of Dreamworks Kung Fu Panda, says The magic of Sweet Little Lies is distilled in its playful yet thought-provoking animation.

Sweet Little Lies is the first feature film produced by AnyWhere Films in association with Old City Entertainment and will be available in a variety of outlets including Netflix, ITunes, Amazon and retailers nationwide.

The Sweet Little Lies DVD will include the following special features:
 Movie Trailer
 Audio Commentary
