Feature Film 'CHAIN LETTER' From New Films Cinema to Open October 1st

(Los Angeles) New Films Cinema, a division of New Films International, is proud to announce the opening of its new horror film CHAIN LETTER, a full-length feature film directed by Deon Taylor. Chain Letter will open in major markets across the U.S. on October 1st.

CHAIN LETTER features an ensemble cast led by stunning Tinsel Town ingenue Nikki Reed (Twilight) and Betsy Russell (Saw III, Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, Saw 3D). This terrifying horror film that will leave audiences wondering if modern technology is as safe as we hope.

In addition to Reed and Russell, the film stars Michael J. Pagan (How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Nite Tales), Noah Segan (Deadgirl), Matt Cohen (Boogeyman 2), Cody Kasch (Desperate Housewives), Cherilyn Wilson (90210), Brad Dourif (Alien, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), Keith David (Crash, Barbershop), with Michael Bailey Smith (The Hills Have Eyes) as the killer.

The film tells the tale of six friends who receive mysterious chain letters via text messages and emails from a maniac who warns them if they break the chain they will lose their life. The seemingly harmless emails turn deadly when one by one the friends who do not forward the chain letter are hunted down and gruesomely killed by horror's newest villain, the Chain Man.

CHAIN LETTER was directed by Deon Taylor, who recently joined forces with Jamie Foxx, to launch a production company dubbed No Brainer Films. The Los Angeles-based banner will focus on developing, financing, writing, directing and producing mainstream films and TV series budgeted at under $10 million.

CHAIN LETTER is being theatrically released by New Films Cinema.
