(Colorado Springs, CO) - CREEP! - a dark comedy, docu-drama about the making of the The Creeping Terror is nine days through its 35-day production schedule that began on June 25. In May, CREEP! filmmakers met their Kickstarter goal and raised more than $70,000 in 60 days -- just enough to begin production and bring the monster to life.

Produced by Colorado-native Nancy Theken and written and directed by Pete Schuermann, the award-winning duo recounts the never-been-told tale of A.J. Nelson (played by actor Josh Phillips) and his audacious effort to make a monster movie in 1964. As a thank you to donor(s) for their contribution of $10,000 or more, Schuermann and Theken will host a private dinner in Los Angeles with four-time Academy Award winner Richard Edlund. Financial supporters are still needed and welcome.

The old saying in showbiz that movies arent made, they are forced into existence has definitely proven to be true, said CREEP! executive producer Nancy Theken. The beautiful thing about CREEP! is that there are so many fans around the globe, from Los Angeles to London, excited about this film.

This feature film will shoot 95-percent on location in Colorado Springs, Colo. with a talented cast, crew, props and post-production almost entirely from Colorado. After two years of researching, casting, scouting locations, securing interviews, filming the trailer and crowdfunding via Kickstarter, CREEP! is ready for its close-up.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again, we have some high caliber actors and a talented crew, added Schuermann. The making of this movie wouldnt be possible without them and the amazing support from our community. Now lets make a movie, Colorado!
