George Grafas, President and Chief Casting Director of Casting Partners LLC, has created a national collaborative effort with producers from all major markets to employ Latin talent directly from Miami. By working directly with producers on their budget, Mr. Grafas ensures talent and agents are fairly and equitably compensated, producers stay in budget, and all projects are successfully executed.
When NYC producers were recently challenged with finding the perfect Latin co-stars for Sofia Vergara's Comcast commercial campaign, they turned to Casting Partners Miami for the best Latin talent options in the country. Six talent were selected and flown to NYC for a one day shoot, satisfying the producers need to stay in budget and the ad agency's desire for the best possible talent. Casting Partners also recently cast Latin talent for a Cox Communications campaign shot in Atlanta, and for a Miller Lite commercial shot in Mexico.
"With budgets tightening and ad agency expectations still high, it's important to be able to provide the highest level of talent at the right budget," says Grafas. With Casting Partners newly developed in-house database of more than 10,000 Florida talent, producers have immediate access to a widely inclusive range of options from high-profile union actors and models to real people. Explains Grafas, "While we are casting for local Spanish-market commercials and television, we are building an inventory of excellent Latin talent for other markets. We look forward to the continued collaboration with out-of-state producers, providing the desired level of talent while bringing more opportunities to Miami actors and models."
