Canon Hollywood Professional Technology and Support Center Now Fully Operational

First Canon Facility in the U.S.A. with the Capability to Service All Canon Lens Types Supporting Canon's Cinema, Television and Professional Photography Customers

Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced that the Canon Hollywood Professional Technology and Support Center is fully operational, offering comprehensive product repair and support services for Canon's professional products. This is the first Canon facility in the United States with the precision equipment, staff and expertise to repair all Canon professional lens types, including the Company's award-winning EF series photography lenses, brand new EF Cinema lenses, and broadcast and studio lenses. Full repair services for Canon's extensive lineup of cameras, including the new Cinema EOS C300 camera, XF/XA Series high definition camcorders, and professional-grade EOS Digital SLR cameras are also available at the facility.

The Hollywood Professional Technology and Support Center brings Canon's award-winning service and support to Hollywood, serving the growing number of professional cinema, broadcast and television production customers. The facility, located on the historic Sunset Gower Studios lot at 6060 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, provides a local site to foster support, research, service and training for Hollywood's entertainment industry. In addition to product service, the facility acts as a base for Canon's regional operations and provides training and support to industry partners, including dealers and rental houses. The new facility and highly trained Canon staff also offer hands-on Canon Live Learning seminars to current and potential clients on the latest Canon professional products. On-site repair operations include two state-of-the-art camera body and lens adjustment rooms, Canon's most advanced adjustment and calibration equipment, local spare parts inventory, and an experienced repair staff that will return Canon's professional products to their original factory condition and operation.

An advance reservation is required for all service and support requests handled by the Hollywood facility. Customers requesting support should call 1 (855) CINE EOS to schedule an appointment. Additionally, as an added benefit for Canon Professional Services (CPS) Platinum and Gold level members, a reservation for support can be made via the CPS hotline 24 hours a day at 1 (888) CPS-4540.
