(Atlanta, GA) On April 14, 2012, Studio 11 Films began shooting the first of its 11 films under The-11Eleven11 Project. So far, three films have wrapped: Nice Guy, the hilarious comedy starring comedic actor Miguel A. Nunez, Jr.; Boost of Love, a romantic comedy that features actor Tommy Ford; and Light through the Fire, a controversial drama about choices and forbidden love starring Brad James and Doris Morgado.

Boost of Love was written by Konahe Jernigan, produced by Marques Smith and directed by Roxzane T. Mims. The team is mentored by actress Terri J. Vaughn (Tyler Perrys "Meet the Browns"). Light through the Fire was written by Yvette D. Bennett, produced by Jason L. Bunkley, and directed by Kymberle Brown. The renowned actor Leon ("Temptations," "The Five Heartbeats") inspires the film team as their celebrity mentor.

Up next is a melodrama called The Promise, written by the The-11Eleven11 Project writer Khafra Amenhotep, producer Christopher Jones and director Ray Virgin. Their mentor, actress turned reality star LisaRaye McCoy will also have a feature role in the film; just like her celebrity friends and associates. Although LisaRaye is in Atlanta filming her hit television series "Single Ladies," she takes time out of her busy schedule to work with the team. I am so excited to be associated with this amazing project, and the opportunity to co-direct this film is an honor, LisaRaye expressed to Studio 11 Films co-founder Sharon Tomlinson.

LisaRaye is a gracious and humble person, giving of her time to mentor these filmmakers, and shes doing it with so much love and selflessness, said Tomlinson. Cameras will be rolling practically all day on Saturday, April 28, 2012 for principal photography of the The Promise, the projects fourth film.

The first mini-rap party will kick-off on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at GME Sports Lounge & Grill to celebrate The-11Eleven11 Project half-way point accomplishments and the first four film teams success completing their shoots. Thereafter, a mini-rap party will take place weekly at one of Studio 11 Films sponsored venues. GME Sports Lounge & Grill is located 899 MLK Jr. Drive, in Atlanta.
