The Creative World Awards (CWA) screenwriting competition is known for championing writers and helping them garner the exposure and recognition they need to propel their personal projects forward. CWA has built relationships with some of the most sought after companies in the industry such as Lionsgate/Mandate International, Inferno Entertainment, Dark Hero, Icon Films & Entertainment, Morgan Creek, Kundali Entertainment, and more, all of which get first looks at the winning scripts each year.

Through their development service, CWA provides assistance in story and craft development, which is geared towards getting projects ready for the screen. Now going into its fifth year, CWA has helped secure option deals and representation for many of their writers, resulting in it becoming a major "go-to" source for finding new talent and material in the industry.
