Busy Weekend for Award-Winning Mystical Family Drama �Dreams Awake�

(Los Angeles, CA) - The award-winning, independently produced feature film, �Dreams Awake,� a mystical family drama starring Erin Gray, will be involved in three different film festivals this coming weekend. The three film festivals are the Awareness Festival in West Hollywood, the Honolulu Film Awardsin Honolulu, and at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where it is slated to pick up more awards.

Less than two weeks ago, �Dreams Awake� walked away with 2 Gold Remi Awards at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival; one Gold Remi was for Original Drama and the other was for Original Screenplay.

At the Honolulu Film Awards on May 5th, �Dreams Awake� will receive a Silver Lei award. It has yet to be determined what awards are in store for the film at the other two film festivals.

After the Awareness Film Festival screening on Sunday, May 6, director Jerry Alden Deal will conduct a "Question & Answer" session. Other participants will include one of the supporting actors, Najarra Townsend, composer Bruce Chianese, and sound designer David Sonnenschein.

Besides Gray, the film stars Gary Graham and Tim O�Connor. Gray is known primarily for her lead roles in the TV series �Silver Spoons� and �Buck Rogers in the 25th Century,� but has also appeared in several other TV series� and indie films. Graham starred in the TV series �Alien Nation� and �Star Trek Enterprise,� along with roles in a number of indie films. O�Connor came out of retirement to cap off his long career, which included starring opposite Erin Gray in �Buck Rogers,� as well as numerous roles dating back to the 1950s. He is primarily known for his role in the 1960�s TV series �Peyton Place.�

Billed as a mystical family drama, the story�s logline reads, �While on vacation a disconnected family gets stranded near mystical Mt. Shasta and gets more than they could have ever bargained for. A glimpse into the subtle but intense possibilities of the human spirit, this spiritual drama delves into that magical lore between reality and illusions, dreams and awake, and life and immortality.�
