(Atlanta) Bounce TV continuing its rapid growth into cities around the country, announced the addition of Philadelphia and Kansas City to its expanding list of markets. The first-ever over-the-air broadcast television network for African Americans launching September 26 will be seen in the Philadelphia area on Lenfest Broadcasting LLC's WMCN-TV and on Meredith Local Media Group's KSMO-TV in Kansas City. The two new affiliation agreements, Bounce TV's first with the two companies, were announced by Bounce TV Executive Vice President of Distribution Jeffrey Wolf.

Bounce TV now has affiliation agreements with Lenfest, Meredith, Weigel, Gannett, Belo Corp., Nexstar Communications, LIN TV Corp. and Raycom Media. In just the past two weeks alone, the new network has added Philadelphia, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee and Atlanta and signed Toyota USA as the network's first national advertiser.

"There is strong demand for Bounce TV among television station groups and major national sponsors," commented Wolf. "We are thrilled to welcome Lenfest and Meredith and their stations to the growing Bounce TV family."

"With our H. Chase Lenfest Foundation having a strong presence in the African American community in Philadelphia, Bounce TV is a perfect partner for WMCN and vice versa," commented Jon Gorchow, President of Lenfest Broadcasting, LLC.

"Bounce TV is a winning and perfectly-timed concept," commented Doug Lowe, Executive Vice President of the Meredith Local Media Group. "We look forward to the launch of Bounce TV in Kansas City on September 26."

Bounce TV will target African Americans primarily between the ages of 25-54 with a programming mix of theatrical motion pictures, live sporting events, documentaries, specials, inspirational faith-based programs, off-net series, original programming and more. Bounce TV will air twenty four hours a day, seven days a week as a digital terrestrial network designed for carriage on the digital signals of local television stations. Bounce TV will be seen in Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston, Cleveland/Akron, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Hartford/New Haven, Norfolk, Dayton, West Palm Beach, Birmingham, Memphis, Louisville and Richmond, VA and other cities with new markets expected to be announced shortly.
