(SCHAUMBURG, IL) We've checked, and there will be no graduates named "Bueller" holding things up when diplomas are awarded.

Ben Stein – actor, economist, former game show host, presidential advisor, lawyer and teacher – addressed American InterContinental University (AIU) graduates at its commencement this summer at Navy Pier in Chicago.

Described by some as a true Renaissance man, Stein is a noted writer of financial and economic commentary, a former advisor and speech writer to presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford and the host of the seven-time Emmy Award winning Comedy Central quiz show "Win Ben Stein's Money." But he may be best known for his role as the high school economics teacher taking attendance in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

"Ben Stein possesses a tremendous combination of economic and political acumen, superior wit and social awareness. He's known for poignant speeches that also leave people rolling in the aisles," said Dr. George Miller, president of AIU. "I can't wait to hear the advice he gives our graduates."

AIU's market-relevant degrees offer a real world focus for practical relevance in today's workplace. And their innovative, award-winning online campus is designed to fit school into the lives of busy adults.
