NAB 2013

At NAB 2013, ABonAir, a global provider of wireless video link systems for broadcast camera teams, launched today its AB305Carbon for live aerial broadcast.

AB305Carbon is designed to provide real-time aerial broadcast from multi-rotor helicopters. It enables multi-rotor helicopters to transmit professional quality, real-time video for applications like news broadcast, outdoor sports, live events, reality shows, law enforcements and real estate promotion.

Eran Igler, ABonAir CEO, said: "First in the industry, AB305Carbon provides high-end performance in a lightweight affordable package and enables all production teams to benefit from robust and reliable wireless video solution. AB305Carbon overcomes the weight problem of professional systems with revolutionary design and carbon housing. The system’s weight, robustness, long range and low power consumption permit high-quality video transmission live from the aerial platform, allowing viewers to experience a new exciting perspective".

AB305Carbon supports HD and SD in all resolutions and frame rates, with low delay of only 90msec. The system allows video transmission of up to 500 meters in range, while consuming only 10W of power. All these features are delivered in a small, lightweight and compact form factor that is easily attached to any multi-copter.

ABonAir will introduce AB305Carbon at NAB 2013, Las Vegas, April 8-11, booth No. 12031, in addition to the company's complete product-line demo presentation.
