For those who couldnt attend NAB 2009 check out our booth tour video at vaddio.com.

(Minneaplis, MN) Vaddios booth drew in the crowds at NAB this year with the new ClearVIEW HD-18 Robotic PTZ camera - the only Robotic PTZ camera designed and made in the United States. Additional new products included the ProductionVIEW HD-SDI video switching and mixing console and the ProductionVIEW Precision Camera Controller. Other already-popular solutions included a variety of WallVIEW camera systems, joystick camera controllers, switchers/mixers and camera mounting brackets.

Contrary to industry expectations we were extremely satisfied with the attendance at this years show, explained Rob Sheeley, president and CEO of Vaddio. We saw an immense enthusiasm for the new ClearVIEW HD-18 and the ProductionVIEW HD-SDI switcher.

The groundbreaking ClearVIEW HD-18 is equipped with a 1/3, 1.3 megapixel CCD imaging sensor, a glass multi-element wide dynamic zoom lens (18x optical), a tally light and a 1.8-lux rating, providing superior images in a widerange of high-definition video applications.

In addition to the ClearVIEW HD-18, Vaddio launched two Quick-Connect CAT-5 cabling systems for the ClearVIEW HD-18 camera WallVIEW HD-18 and WallVIEW CCU HD-18. The WallVIEW HD-18 provides power to the camera, and component HD video back to the Quick-Connect SR up to 100 feet over a single CAT-5 cable.

The WallVIEW CCU HD-18 is a camera control unit that allows the user to adjust red and blue gain, pedestal, gamma, chroma, knee, iris and gain on the camera module and allows up to three scene settings to be stored in the CCU.

Vaddio also introduced the ProductionVIEW HD-SDI camera control console with HD-SDI and SD-SDI video switching, video mixing and automated control functionality. Due to the increased demand of Serial Digital Interface (SDI) in live broadcast, Vaddio created the ProductionVIEW HD-SDI multi-camera control system with an integrated 6 x 2 HD/SD-SDI seamless video switcher.

Debuting for the first time at NAB, the Precision Camera Controller takes the existing ProductionVIEW Super Joystick a step further by upgrading the robotic camera controller to a broadcast-quality joystick for extremely smooth and accurate pan, tilt and zoom control.
