Short film entries are now being accepted for the 2009 Flatland Film Festival. Compete for $3500 in cash awards. Film Entry Deadlines: June 5, 2009 (early); July 15, 2009 (regular); August 1, 2009 (late). The 5th Flatland Film Festival is a short film/video competition and film invitational which cultivates an appreciation for independent film, video and digital moving-image expression. The festival will take place October 15 through 17, 2009, in the Firehouse Theatre at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock, Texas.
