I just woke up from a dream that Michael Goi, ASC was doing a workshop for us on one of those old Spanish galleons ships from the 1600s. It was a massive old ship with multiple levels. There were a lot of people in attendance. Michael was going around the ship looking for the best place to do the workshop. I felt a little bad that I didn’t have the best place picked out already. What does it mean? 😀
You get to walk the plank.
Carl Jung would say that every part of the dream represents an aspect of you. Last night, I had a dream of a film scene. A woman in a short, body-conscious skirt opened a heavy black wooden door. So, a Jungian analysis might say the door represents that I’m strong, fit, and unafraid to experience new things. In reality, I’m lifting weights and would never wear that skirt, suggesting that my subconscious is letting me know I’m fitter than I see myself. On the other hand, sometimes a door is just a door. 😅
I always dream that I’m shooting something great, a great scene, and then I realize I forgot to put film in the camera.
