MauraParticipantNo, I haven’t. But I saw many of our members create impressive short films with it! 😀

JosephParticipantI haven’t used the FX6 on a drone, but I have used it on a gimbal (DJI Ronin S3 Pro) with my easy rig. It’s a great camera. I prefer it to my Sony A7S III because of the built in ND’s which are important when shooting outside.

ParticipantHello sir,
Isn’t this rig heavy? I was looking at the pictures and it seems difficult to use it for a longer amount of time.-

JosephParticipantIt’s really not that heavy. I didn’t weigh it but I think it’s under 10lbs. The easy rig helps put the weight on your hips not your shoulders or arms and I can hold more weight longer. If I was just using the DJI RS3 gimbal without the ring, you hold that with your arms and they could start shaking after a long day.

MariannaParticipantI am currently a student at film school in Germany. I have limited experience with this type of equipment. Would it be possible to see something that you filmed using this gear? Even a 10 seconds scene helps. Thank you!

JosephParticipantThis was the first time I used the rig and I can’t show any of the footage because of an NDA agreement with the producer. But the feature film “The Creator” shot with Sony FX3’s and the RS3 gimbals for theatrical release. This is just a smaller version of the Ronin or MōVI gimbals. Gimbals are not a replacement for Stedicam but they do help smooth out shots.
