Is the future of VFX AI?
Good question! I believe AI plays an important role in the future of filmmaking. However, AI is unable to create what a human brain can. It can only analyze and replicate data. It does not understand the depth of the human experience.
I agree with your comment Maura. I use Adobe for editing and FX work centered around patient privacy treatments to both the visual and the audio. Often, my work has a very short turnaround time so I welcome the growing AI toolsets. AI has helped me streamline some editing processes and I have full creative control, and that is a satisfying experience. Steinberg Nuendo is also part of my workflow and the software has an audio unmix feature that extracts voice, instruments, and other sounds into separate tracks, which is awesome!
I agree with you both. I think we are just seeing the beginning of the AI revolution but it’s not going to replace human creativity or human creative genius. It’s going to augment it.
