I know some of you are passionate about cosplay, however, it can be quite difficult to create the props and costumes by yourself. For this purpose, I have done a bit of research and I found a method that could help those of you who are trying to create big swords, helmets or costumes.

The easiest method, but not the cheapest, is to set up a 3D printer. This video can guide you on how to choose a 3D printer for your needs and what upgrades you need, tips and tricks:

The same person who made this tutorial also 3D printed many props, including a full-scale costume:

After printing, you will need to polish, assembly and paint to get the final product

I am impresssed by what that person accomplished through hard work!

I think @Dustin should see the second video. Maybe it will help him with his Marvel Recreation project.

Now that I think about it, it could be a really good idea to use a 3D printer to create props for your future projects, Dustin! 😀

It can be a bit pricy for students to buy a 3D printer but again, if they have the new iPhone 13, they can get a good 3D printer set up to create the props they will need. Except I think that setting up a 3D printer with upgrades and raw materials is cheaper than the new iPhone 13.
