How much does it really matter whether you use one camera or another? As an artist don’t you use what you have to create your vision and the best camera in the world is the one you have to shoot with?

If you use an entry-level camera, it matters because of the quality. You might not have enough focal points and the image could be blurry at times. Also, if you wish to shoot 4k videos, you will need a camera able to provide hat quality.

I did not have the chance to try the best cameras yet that cost over £10k. I did have the chance to try cameras that cost between £800 and £3k. There was a big difference. As for lens…they do make it better if they cost more.

It really doesn’t matter what camera you use if you are shooting the next Spider Man or Avengers Movie. If you are an indie filmmaker, you are stuck with other type of equipment and you need to make the most of what you have.
