Blackmagic Cameras
Roy and Rob have both been using Blackmagic cameras. Does anyone like or even dislike their cameras? Why?

Blackmagic? I see that most of the serious cinematographers are using ARRI.

BM has build a reputation for its cameras and I heard they are really good. I never got the chance to purchase one, but at school, I could practice with one and the quality was impressive.

Kim, I am starting to think you are a movie star acting as a normal person 😅 I would be very excited to shoot a video with that camera, tho. 😁

I would go with ARRI cameras if it were up to me but I am not the cinematographer or producer on the project. 😀

The price however makes Blackmagic more affordable and accessible, unlike ARRI

It’s better to rent the camera! Black Magic is not all it’s hyped to be. There are many better and more affordable options that will do the job if you are thinking of it cost-wise.
