BlackMagic Camera BMPCC6K
The Blackmagic Camera BMPCC6K people have been promoting recently will do the job for some people I am sure. I hear the image is great but so are other company’s cameras and the BlackMagic has poor battery life, No 4K Raw, No 6K ProRes, no IBIS, and very Limited autofocus options.
Sony has some new cameras in the pipeline that my filmmaking friends and I are excited about that will not only be on par or better image-wise but you can get them at a much lower pricepoint. I think Sony or Canon cameras are a better choice for students, indie filmmakers, and professionals. You will get more for your money and better support in my opinion.
